The Agency for Åconomic Ànalysis and Forecasting (AEAF) is an administration with the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria for applied and theoretical macroeconomic research, as well as for elaboration of independent and objective macroeconomic analyses, forecasts and simulations of alternative economic policies.

The Agency is a budget support legal entity having its headquarters in Sofia, Bulgaria. It has the statute of an Executive agency.

The main functions of the AEAF, its structure, work organization and staff are regulated in the Agency Organic rules, adopted by a Council of Ministers' Decree ¹ 249 of 19.10.2009, published in the State Gazette ¹ 85, October 27, 2009.
